Kohler Co. Project Team leader in SHANGHAI, China

Project Team leader

Location: China, Shanghai

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBLITIES:

  1. Create and execute project plan according to NPD procedure, in charge of project WBS, budgeting, change management, status report, PDCA, risk assessment, checklist, etc.

  2. Ensure project deliverables, as time to market, product quality, cost, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, etc.

  3. Coordinate multi-functional team(Marketing/ID/Engineering/Purchasing/Supply Chain/Manufacturing) for key project milestone ensure effective communication and efficient outcome

  4. Lead global project team and align on global projects direction, team members are from US, AP, India, Emerging marketing.

  5. Manage supplier deliverables on NPD, with support from purchasing/engineering/quality functions

  6. Prepare agenda and work with project team for regular PT meeting. Make meeting notes and publish decisions/actions, keep following with team and updating to key stakeholders.

  7. Organize New Product Schedule discussion with Marketing/ID/Engineering for a on-time and on-quality outcome

  8. Lesson learn from project execution and optimize available procedure

Skills/Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in a product development related discipline (e.g. Engineering/Manufacturing, Marketing, and Design) with 8-10 years of experience in product development or project management.

  2. Above 4-6 years of increasing responsibility in project management, strong communication skill and leadership is crucial

  3. Understand different cultures and can work with different regional team member

  4. Fluent English speaking and writing as working language

  5. Professional skill on Microsoft Office and MS_Project

  6. An oversea training/working experience is a plus
