Amazon Sales Operation Manager in Shanghai, China

Description

Amazon provides businesses of all types and sizes the opportunity to sell their goods on Amazon platform worldwide. With 300+ million active customer accounts, including 200 million+ Prime customers in Amazon marketplaces, Amazon is developing infrastructure aggressively to support this growth around the world, particularly in the booming cross border selling area.

In this role, you will be directly responsible for leading a team of business operation specialist (might also include Business Analyst/Business Intelligence Engineer). This role requires program management mindset and capability - most critically Invent and Simplify.

You will work with internal sales teams to identify the needle moving points to boost seller success, and derive initiatives for Seller experience improvement. Your team will perform deep dives to derive analytical insights, and share data driven insights to discuss & influence stakeholders, including but not limited to China sales teams, PMO team, Marketplace partners, and global central functions.

The ideal candidate should be able to work in a cross functional, cross cultural and fast-paced environment; has persistent learning appetite, superb analytical capability, strong inter-personal & communication skills, along with an intense customer obsession and ownership. You will be expected to be innovative, yet frugal, and strong in delivering result.

Basic Qualifications

- - 7+ years of Microsoft Excel experience

- - Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- - Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

- - Outstanding verbal and written communication and collaboration skills in Chinese, and English

- - Ability to think strategically and creatively while executing methodically with high attention to detail, operational excellence and ability to multi-task

- - Demonstrated track record to work in a cross-functional and international environment, to lead by influence and earn trust at all levels

- - History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done

- - Excellent analytical skills and problem solving skills. Demonstrated ability to interpret data and make business recommendations

- - Desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging, yet innovative environment

Preferred Qualifications

- - Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools

- - Experience presenting to senior leadership

- - Experience with SQL
