For our Sales Next team, we are looking for a Senior Green Process Plant Consultant to help us drive business success. We are a highly motivated team and are excited to get to know you.
You'll make an impact by
Developing and iterating Siemens Green Plant consulting/design methodology for process industry such as Fine Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Energy, Pulp & Paper, New Material, Mineral etc.
Being an application professional colleague of Green Plant, especially in process optimization, energy efficiency, operation optimization etc.
Owning good knowhow on plant process/energy system design, plant simulation, and plant operation as a senior colleague of Green Plant.
Supporting Green Plant relevant pre-sales activities by deep knowhow on how to build a green plant from process, energy efficiency, and operation perspective as a senior colleague in process industry.
Listening to customers and quickly comprehending their requirements, then making a conceptual design based on the big picture of Green Plant and customer’s specific needs as an experienced Green Plant consultant.
Co-conducting accurate analysis in terms of feasibility based on simulation software to work out conceptual design for customers.
Delivering consulting/design output by professional documentation, slides, and diagrams.
Cooperating with other functions to deliver even bigger scope such as detailed process design, control/operation commissioning etc.
Clearly knowing the application domains of Green Plant and being able to transfer Siemens concept and knowledge to both customers and to our internal colleagues.
Contributing to team knowledge management and standardization of consulting/design projects.
Instantly supporting Green Plant/Sustainability marketing events as needed.
Your defining qualities
A senior green plant consultant should strategically and tactically be able to get internal support from the team to convince the customer high management to invest in green plant/sustainability.
Be very familiar with process, design, simulation, and operation for process industry customers.
Be familiar with Green Plant consulting methodology and be able to deliver site investigation, conceptual design, process simulation, operation optimization strategy design, operation instruction etc.
Provide/sell a Green Plant design, roadmap, and cost vs. benefit to customers.
Own experience as an assistant project manager, manage relevant resources to realize what the customer bought in (in terms of Green Plant) with our portfolio, manpower and technologies.
Act as ‘Green Plant Evangelist’ and trainer to customers and internal colleagues.
