WuXi AppTec Team Leader, Genetic and in vitro Toxicology in Shanghai, China
Overview
WuXi AppTec Lab Testing Division (LTD) is a fully integrated platform with the unique ability to test entire portfolios of compounds and accelerate our customers’ R&D efforts to bring innovative medicines to patients faster.
LTD is currently hiring a Team Leader for its Genetic & in vitro Toxicology service. The successul candidate will need to be based in Nantong, a newly developed site in China with outstanding local employee benefits available.
Job Location: Nantong (Qidong), China
Responsibilities
Manage and operate the genetic and in vitro toxicology group (Technician and SD groups);
As the single point of study control, responsible for the overall conduct of the genetic and in vitro toxicology studies and ensure GLP compliance;
Prepare, execute and sign the study protocol and any amendments to the study protocol; Responsible for the result interpretation, analysis, documentation and issuing final report;
Keep up on top current globally with regards to genetic and in vitro toxicity assays;
Develop new assays as necessary;
Take the lead to sustainably improve the team performance
Qualifications
Master or PhD, major in toxicology, biology or medicine, etc, experience with genetic and in vitro toxicology is preferred;
Strong management capability and team spirits;
Good learning and adaptability, and be able to quickly adapt into a new environment;
Cooperation, ownership and independence;
Good communication skills, writing and speaking proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English
