EMD MILLIPORE Production Planning Manager in SHEBOYGAN FALLS, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Manage the processes and projects associated with the Planning and Scheduling Department to meet company service, growth and performance goals. Lead, develop and administer planning and scheduling workflow activities. Develop and implement technical solutions to maximize the performance of resources in support of company including systems and processes. Develop and manager the Local and Global Planning and Scheduling systems (SAP and related planning databases) to ensure designs are optimized to achieve corporate business objectives.Work closely with and provide leadership, guidance, support, and administration of assigned Planning and Scheduling area with insight of key Sales and Marketing and other production/purchasing planners to ensure accuracy of Customer Forecasts and Demand Information are correct and developed into the best achievable plan to meet customer requirements. .Use analysis skills to immediately resolve issues and perform root cause analysis to identify and pr event recurrence.Lead teams using process improvement methodology and APICS best practices to drive business results.Use capacity models for long term business planning.Prepare volume, trend, and mix forecast with Sales, Marketing, and Strategic Business Partners for Finance, Sourcing, Planning and Site Management teams.Manage and monitor work performance of employees to meet company objectives including the flow of materials from bulk to finished goods (Production, QC, Packaging, Supply Chain)Plan, organize, direct and coordinate major improvement project.Ability to understand corporate objectives and create local leverage points to control and change to achieve those objectives.Identify behavior (systemic or human) causing discrepancies and create and implement solutions or provides necessary trainingCoordinate or lead cross functional activities to achieve targeted service levels.Respond effectively to employee concerns and/or performance issues.Participate in new hire interviews and effectively evaluate potential candidates to facilitate hiring of strong candidates.Develop, implement, maintain, and analyze departmental measuresIdentify and resolve all inquiries and problems (or delegate accordingly)Support all related functions including collaborative IBM, S&OP for Site (QC, Packaging, and Operations with throughput, efficiency and quality issues). Who You Are: Basic Qualifications:Bachelor\'s Degree in Business related field or equivalent experience.5+ years supply chain management, MRP, capacity planning, forecasting, planning and scheduling techniques.Professional experience leading a team within a supply chain environment.
