Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a General Production Worker, where you will have the opportunity to work across four different departments, ensuring a diverse skill set and ample learning opportunities. You will start by being cross-trained in Casting, Grinding, Coating, and Packing departments, dealing with tasks ranging from preparing raw materials to the final inspection and packaging of products. Continuous training will be provided to help transition to third shift, ensuring your growth and development within the company.

Hard Skills

  • Ability to work in high heat and continuous movement environments

  • Experience in loading and operating machines

  • Ability to read and interpret written instructions and work orders

  • Knowledge of inspection plans for surface roughness and material hardness

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

Soft Skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift

  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 720 Hour(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Shelbyville, Indiana.
