As a Production Scheduler at Ryerson, you will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating all processing equipment and sales and Management of proper machine capacity and available work hours.
- Scheduling and coordination of all processing equipment, sales, etc.
- Management of proper machine capacity and available work hours
- Interact with Operators on the shop floor to communicate scheduling and production needs
- Review orders and processing instructions to ensure compliance with job work instructions
- Manage SAP transactions and reports to ensure orders are completed
- Review ROAD performance data to identify areas of improvement
- Review orders and identify skid and PVC film requirements
- All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
- GED/HS Diploma
- 1-3 years of experience in a scheduling-type position preferred
- SAP experience preferred
- Demonstrated success with MRP systems preferred
- Knowledge of metals processing or manufacturing is preferred
- Organizational skills and ability to complete multiple tasks
- Customer-focused and problem-solver
