Arvato Bertelsmann Test Maintenance Technician in Shepherdsville, Kentucky
This position’s primary responsibility is to maintain all conveyance, automation, complete projects, installations, and repairs in all areas of the floor as assigned by Facility Manager. Coordinate preventative maintenance efforts with other team members. With short notice, respond to facility breakdowns and other emergencies. Your Tasks
Perform daily maintenance, installations, and repairs in all areas of the floor as assigned.
Respond to all system issues involving conveyors, MHE, sortation and controls (ARMADA, Hardware, Software, etc.).
Assists with any infrastructure upgrades along with modifications/repairs to building assets.
Basic troubleshooting/diagnostics and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and control system components of the conveyor system and building components, including but not limited to: PLCs
High Speed Sortation Systems
Cobots
Material Handling Equipment
PANDA
VFDs
Robotic Systems
Scanners
Power distribution
Communication systems
Coordinate preventative maintenance efforts with other team members.
Follow operation manuals, diagrams, manufacturer’s specifications.
Support the initiatives set forth by the Facilities Manager related to the day-to-day maintenance/upkeep of the facilities.
Perform detailed preventative maintenance.
Repair, replace and maintain in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer’s specifications.
Support coordination of third parties and ordering parts.
Complete building maintenance as needed to include: electrical, WIFI/IDF, Plumbing and sprinkler systems, HVAC, and Alarm systems
Interact with manufacturers, vendors, and operations to remedy concerns, offer solutions, or implement modifications.
Your Profile
Be knowledgeable and skillful in work related fields to include: Electrical, Electronic, Distribution Automation.
At least 1 year Prior Conveyor Maintenance experience. (Hytrol systems a plus)
Troubleshoot, and implement changes to I/O device networks such as Profibus, Data Highway, and CanBus.
Demonstrated ability to utilize computers/computer-based monitoring equipment to diagnose material handling systems and building automation systems.
Must be team oriented
Possess excellent PC computer skills
Must possess strong analytical/problem solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be self-directed and goal oriented
Must have knowledge of commercial power distribution
Advanced diagnostic/troubleshooting skills
Ability to train junior personnel
Able to lead/direct projects and repairs in all areas of the floor as assigned by Manager
Coordinates preventative maintenance efforts
Ability to motivate team and establish positive morale
