We specialize in customized mid- and short-run packaging solutions and serve a diverse customer base in the pharmaceutical, dairy, household chemicals, food/nutraceuticals, industrial/specialty chemicals, water, and beverage/juice segments.
We are currently seeking an experienced Injection Mold Operator in Sherman, TX. As an Injection Mold Operator, you will be responsible for the hands-on operation of automated injection/blow molding equipment to produce pre-forms and/or PET bottles. You will also be responsible for following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate injection mold machine to shape plastics
Monitor production process and downstream equipment and makes process adjustments when needed
Verify pre-form attributes with the use of statistical process control techniques
Performs quality assurance checks in accordance with customer specifications
Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
Enter data into SPC database for quality control measures
Troubleshoot, preventative maintenance and minor repair on machines
Repair or replace pneumatic and hydraulic lines
Maintain activity logs
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma, or equivalent
2-3 years' experience as an injection mold machine operator
Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)
Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills are required
Machine maintenance experience
Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
Ability to work overtime
Physical stamina and strength/able to stand for long periods of time
TRAINING:
- Completion of Altium Machine Operator 1 training within 90-days of hire date.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts in a production environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
