Texas Instruments is looking for an energetic engineer with a passion for process. This position provides the opportunity to drive continual improvement at all levels. Our team is primarily focused on driving improved procedures and processes. We are searching for a self-directed, highly motivated engineer to join our team.
The responsibilities of a Manufacturing Process Engineer in this role include:
Drive efficient Photo process releases to meet our startup and ramp schedule
Own and deliver module operational performance, ensure robust stability and manufacturing flexibility.
Support manufacturing operations
Develop and implement process improvements to increase yield, and enable cost leadership
Collaborate closely with your Equipment Engineering peer & Operations counterparts
Respond urgently to quality issues, ensuring timely containment to keep events small and protect our customers, and drive to root cause
Active communication and relationship building with employees and peers is essential for success
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
2 years of relevant experience in a semiconductor fab environment
Preferred qualifications:
Previous 300mm wafer fab startup experience
Expertise in Photo process engineering (mark robustness optimization, layer transfers, advanced process development)
Experience developing and maintaining APC models in Photo
Ability to work with aggressive timelines and drive for timely results
Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects at the same time
Ability to lead cross module teams to identify and solve complex process/integration problems
Track record of building strong and collaborative relationships across organizational boundaries
