Emerson Planning Manager in Sherman, Texas

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Manage activities and responsibilities of the team for order scheduling, timely follow-up on lead time requests, other order-related queries and effective critical issue management.
Develop and maintain the Production Planning Release Schedule in line with the customer’s requirements and production targets.
Coordinate the planning teams, and work with the Supply Manager and Demand Planning Manager within the organization to ensure that material is available.
Develop/Improve the Materials & Capacity Planning process to achieve an efficient inventory level.
Support the President's Operating Review (POR) reporting, backlog, and service level reporting.
Maintain and communicate the prospectus lead times.
Participate in Planning-related Growth programs, Strategic Plans, and key Operations Plans.
Manage a group of employees to maintain department standards in efficiency and productivity.

You create and implement plans that allocate resources precisely. You show a tremendous amount of initiative in tough situations and are exceptional at spotting and seizing opportunities. You formulate a clear strategy and map aggressive steps that will accelerate the organization toward its goals.
For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university - or - HS diploma/G.E.D. with 10 years of experience in Materials Management and/or Project Management in a manufacturing/warehouse environment using ERP systems.
1 year of experience supervising or leading employees.
5 years of experience in Materials Management and/or Project Management in a manufacturing environment.
Basic knowledge of master scheduling, forecasting, safety stock, materials requirement planning, and supply responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
MBA
3-5 years of experience supervising or leading employees.
Experience with Oracle planning functions.
Supply Chain (ASCM) training and certification.
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, and strong presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to positively influence and inspire change.
