What you'll be involved in:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as Group Marketing Coordinator, reporting directly to the Marketing Manager.

You will be responsible for supporting 7 business units execute their marketing campaigns by producing consistently messaged communications and engaging content for all channels. As Group Marketing Coordinator you will cover all aspects of marketing including website content, social media management, developing promotional materials, planning of exhibitions and market research.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a creative flair who enjoys helping to bring new ideas to life using your expertise and has an eye for great design. You should have strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful applicant must be a team player who can equally take the lead responsibility where required.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contributing to the development and execution of marketing campaigns for 7 business units across the UK.

  • Managing and growing our social media profiles, including content creation, posting, and engagement.

  • Lead on the planning and execution of events, trade shows, and other promotional events.

  • Involved in updating information for 7 company websites with an active role in ensuring our content is SEO optimised

  • Creating the graphics and copy for printed materials including datasheets, presentations, banners etc

  • Conducting research on industry trends, competitors, and customer behaviour to inform marketing strategies

  • Maintaining promotional materials by coordinating requirements and inventorying stock

  • Tracking the effectiveness of marketing tactics by analysing data from numerous sources and monitoring tactical goals

What we're looking for in you:

The background you need:

2-3 years’ experience in Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Officer (https://resources.workable.com/marketing-officer-job-description) or similar role

Proven experience of managing social media platforms and campaigns

Demonstrated ability to create visually compelling content

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail

Creative and innovative thinking with positive approach to tasks

Excellent planning and time management skills with ability to handle multiple projects

Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools

Solid Microsoft Office skills – particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Proficiency in Canva graphic design tool

Flexibility for occasional travel as needed to other sites or exhibitions

Areas that would be of great advantage:

Qualification in Marketing, Graphic Design or relevant field

Experience of working in B2B marketing environment

Knowledge of defence, aerospace, manufacturing industry

Experience in photography or video editing

Knowledge of HTML and Search Engine Optimisation.

Experience with SharePoint Web Content Management System and web analytics

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop

This position can be based at either our Shipley, Lincoln or Bromborough offices. Occasional business travel to other sites may be required alongside external exhibitions and events.
