Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Shreveport, Louisiana
Description We are inviting applications for the role of Accounting Manager/Supervisor to be based in Shreveport, Louisiana. As the Accounting Manager/Supervisor, you will be overseeing a team engaged in financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation. You will be tasked with bringing on new accounting and financial staff, conducting evaluations, and coordinating training initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.
• Ensure the maintenance of precise customer credit records.
• Manage a team of accounting professionals, responsible for billing, collections, and payroll.
• Coordinate the recruitment and hiring of new financial and accounting staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations of accounting and financial staff.
• Identify and address training needs within the current staff.
• Oversee the preparation of budgets.
• Leverage Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, BlackLine, Concur, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient operation.
• Supervise accounting functions such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Auditing.
• Manage billing functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Requirements • Applicant must possess a minimum of 7 years of detail oriented experience in the role of an Accounting Manager/Supervisor.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is necessary.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required.
• Knowledge and skill in using BlackLine is essential.
• Familiarity with Concur software is expected.
• Experience in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is compulsory.
• Mastery over various Accounting Functions is a must.
• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is required.
• Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.
• Experience in Auditing is expected.
• Proficiency in Billing Functions is required.
