Job Description:

• Hourly position supporting the lead teacher in a hands on, play based preschool classroom with no more than 15 students ranging in age from 3-5 years old.

Job Responsibilities:

• Arrive to work on time. Schedule is either 8:00am-12:00pm for morning classes or 11:45am-3:35pm for the afternoon class.
• Clean and sanitize classroom according to Arizona Department of Health Childcare standards.
• Clean and sanitize your class bathroom according to Arizona Department of Health Childcare standards.
• Prepare and serve snacks to all students.
• Assist children in proper handwashing procedures and accompany them to the restroom.
• Assist teacher with daily classroom setup and takedown.
• Assist teacher in capturing photo and video observation of students using Brightwheel. 1 photo or video per student, per day.
• Attend monthly staff meeting and General Board Meeting (outside regular school hours, 1 time per month)
• Attend all school events (outside regular school hours, calendar provided at Staff Orientation)
• Opportunities for additional hours by substituting in other classrooms, as needed.
• You are responsible for finding your own substitute. You will be provided a contact list with substitute names and phone numbers. Once a substitute is acquired please notify the Director and Financial Director.
• Clock in and out daily using Brightwheel.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must obtain a DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Must maintain up to date CPR/First Aid certification.
• Must complete 18 hours of training outside of work hours (some training to be provided at staff meetings).
