We are looking for a talented Depot Equipment Project Coordinator to oversee the design, planning, and coordination efforts for depot equipment installations. The coordinator will be responsible for Guiding a team of project Engineers on Depot Design, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external contractors, and ensuring the successful execution of depot equipment projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Design Leadership: Lead the design process for depot equipment projects, overseeing the development of equipment layouts, technical drawings, and specifications to meet project requirements and client needs.

  • Coordination Oversight: Coordinate with internal teams, Civil Contractors and System Wide Contractors to ensure seamless execution of depot equipment projects, including procurement, delivery, and installation, while maintaining alignment with project timelines and budgets.

  • Team Management: Provide Design Guidance to a team of project engineers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all communications related to depot equipment projects, liaising between internal departments, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective collaboration and resolution of project issues.

  • Project Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design plans, schedules, and risk assessments, to track project progress and ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

  • Interface Management: Develop and Maintain Interface Management documentation ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

  • Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits and meetings to review project progress, address technical issues, and provide guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to depot equipment design and coordination, seeking opportunities for process improvement and innovation to enhance project outcomes and client satisfaction.

  • Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards throughout the duration of depot equipment projects, promoting a culture of safety and adherence to best practices.

Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years of project coordination in railway projects preferably in Depot Equipment projects

  • Proven track record in large scale infrastructure projects

  • Intercultural sensitive and experienced in managing multinational teams on design clarifications

  • Extensive experience in rolling stock equipment maintenance

  • Fast learner and keen to learn

  • Good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking

  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
