APAC Head of Compensation – Director

The Compensation team is responsible for promoting our Pay for Performance philosophy which directly connects the individual, business and company results to employee compensation. As Asia Pacific Head of Compensation, you will lead a team of professionals and be responsible for the strategic compensation positioning supporting the business growth in the region. You will report to the Head of Total Rewards (APAC) and functionally to the Global Head of Compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, design and implement strategic compensation programs; drive the evaluation of current compensation programs and ensure their alignment with regional and global needs.

  • Define the strategy and philosophy for establishing new compensation programs aligned with market competitiveness and business strategies.

  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness and business impact of compensation programs and processes

  • Partner with regional leadership and HR team to ensure compensation programs are aligned with the talent strategies, and in particular with our diversity, equality and inclusion goals.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team to structure and advise on offers for new hires and internal transfers.

  • Stay current on new and innovative practices, market insights, trends in the compensation; review existing and proposed statutory requirements governing compensation and recommend appropriate solutions.

  • Lead and help the team identify growth opportunities, develop skills and build development plans.

  • Owned and drive the execution of HR projects, that may include firm or business-wide initiatives.

Knowledge /Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of 10 years previous experience in Compensation. Advanced degree or industry/consulting experience a plus.

  • Passionate, dedicated, detailed oriented and focused on performing at the highest levels.

  • Experienced at leading a team of professionals across multiple geographies.

  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, or any other visual analytics tools preferred.

  • Comfortable and able to articulate insights from data and trends

  • Knowledge on executive compensation and deferred compensation experience would be desirable

  • Solution-oriented with strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply to various levels of stakeholders.

  • Strong project and time management skills, with an emphasis on being organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven

  • Possesses a self-starter work ethic yet thrives in a collaborative environment.

  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity, highly agile and adaptable to change.

Our hybrid work model
