Abbott Key Account Specialist (OTC/Pharmacy) in Singapore, Singapore

Primary Function:

  • Responsible for developing and growing assigned territory/customers to achieve sales target

  • Takes ownership and high accountability of the assigned territory

  • Independent and resourceful. Ability to work under stringent deadlines

  • Develop and recommend business strategies to achieve short-term and long-term business growth for existing and new customers

  • Good understanding of consumer market trend

Major Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly sales target in assigned key accounts pharmacy

  • Build and maintain strong relationship with customers, buyers, and pharmacists.

  • Weekly update on trade development, competitor’s info, consumer trends

  • Explore new business opportunities to promote growth of sales

  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing Team in organizing promotional activities such as trade exhibition, road shows, Pharmacists/Retail staff educational talks etc

  • Monthly Sales report update on assigned territory to Sales Manager.

  • Maintain updated knowledge of products, share product information with pharmacists, buyers and retail staff

  • Ensure stocks are well merchandise and timely setup of instore secondary display when required

  • Scientifically detail the product to the pharmacists.

  • Engagement with Pharmacists to understand their prescribing habits and recommendation to customer. Provide support help and support to ensure an impeccable brand experience

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Business/Pharmacy or related disciplines

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a Trade Sales role in consumer health/pharma/FMCG industry

  • Experience in OTC/Pharmaceutical industry preferred. Experience covering chain pharmacies is a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal skills & with a positive attitude

  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.

  • Good initiative and strong desire to achieve sales objectives

  • Computer skill: PowerPoint, Excel and Word

  • Good team player
