Kuehne+Nagel Sea Logistics LCL Operational Care Specialist in Singapore, Singapore

You will be part of our Operational Care team, adding your expertise + skills to the delivery of operational excellence

Your Role

You will be responsible for enabling transport activities by executing less-than-container load (LCL) operations whilst liaising with our customer care specialists to ensure all requirements are met in a timely + efficient manner.

Your Responsibilities

You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives:-

  • To create + complete shipment details in our internal transport management system, coordinate with relevant stakeholders, then organize transport based on our obligations to the customer, escalating discrepancies as required.

  • To ensure high data quality is available for timely + accurate customer reporting.

  • To create files for SACO consolidation containers (Master).

  • To review + ensure alignment of shipping instructions including clarifying deviations + conflicts while taking country regulations, export compliance, rate + routing information into consideration.

  • To ensure cost awareness + efficiency through timely, accurate cost/revenue updates including profit maximization by providing cost awareness to customer care locations (CCLs).

  • To ensure optimization + efficiency is reached accordingly to goals + related cargo statuses are entered into relevant systems.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • At least 3 years of experience in logistics, particularly in handling LCL shipments.

  • Experience with SACO and co-loaders, managing import/export operations.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Proficiency in logistics software and systems

  • Attention to detail, especially for import manifests and cargo inventory.
