Your Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Sr Business Analyst to join our JAPAC Go-To-Market Shared Services team. As a business analyst, you will play a key role in sales and program initiatives focused on our commercial go-to-market execution in the JAPAC region. Your work will help us identify trends and correlations to better drive business outcomes. Key elements of your role will include the optimization and execution of global programs and regional initiatives targeted at our sales expansion into commercial via our channel route-to-market.

Your Impact

  • Work with key business stakeholders and regional teams (sales operations, business intelligence, strategy and planning) to deliver insights, reports, visualization and analysis to solve important business problems and optimize growth opportunities

  • Act as the lead liaison and strategic partner in collaborations with Distribution & Commercial cross-functional teams, including field account managers, marketing team, speedboat teams, other channel groups, as well as external business partners.

  • Lead systems and related projects across the project lifecycle, starting from planning, initiation, development, implementation, communication, change management activities, risk management and the collection of best practices

  • Working closely with the Director of Operations to develop, implement and maintain consistent operating procedures around distribution route-to-market priorities such as frictionless transactional process, stocking strategies and other similar initiatives.

  • Partner with the commercial sales team to drive the data analysis effort from start to end for our Inside Sales Representatives (ISR) team to optimise efficiency and productivity in the whitespace territories including Small and Medium Business segmentation (SMB)

  • Work with complex data sets from across the value chain such as sales, perform deep analytical dives into transactional database and identify subsets of trends and correlations to better drive business outcomes. Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support cross functional projects.

  • Act as a representative of channel strategy with internal and external business partners. Assist in the review and evaluation of business initiatives, product and projects with respect to formulate insights for senior business leaders.

  • Assist with business strategy, controls and financial performance. Manage and execute a disciplined change management process.

  • Lead workshops to elicit business needs and create requirement models. Interface with support teams and operations to solve challenging business pain-points.

  • Develop and execute channel growth strategy & initiatives, planning, including opportunities to generate further value and partner retention

  • Design, implement, and support KPIs for HR Services

  • Mentor, guide, advise and/or check the work of less experienced Business Systems Analysts

Your Experience

  • Analytical and comfortable dealing with data including data manipulation, data / statistical analysis to generate trends, forecasts, observations and reports/dashboards

  • Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively and professionally (verbal and written) with stakeholders across the organization

  • Strong business acumen and ability to grasp business requirements from stakeholders

  • Someone who can assist in creating a shared services department, get hands wet in programs, systems, metrics, governance and supervising people

  • Experience in the development and writing of detailed, actionable requirements and functional specifications. Experience in leading medium size projects is a plus.

  • Excellent in performing administration duties in an efficient, timely and professional manner with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Working across functional business units to develop effective business solutions that align with company and business unit/department objectives

  • Ability to lead via influence, persuasion, negotiation and effective communications and build relationships effectively across differing cultures and backgrounds

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in data processing, procurement, accounts payable, customer service, or a sales/channels operations environment

  • Experience in managing and optimizing a company’s channel partner ecosystems is a plus.

  • Personal computer skills with proficiency in Google workspace, Excel, SharePoint, and web based systems. Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Data Studio) preferably.
