Sioux Land Community Health PHREESIA GREETER in Sioux City, Iowa
Siouxland Community Health Center has 1-Part time opening with the following schedule:
Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-8:00pm and Saturday 10:00am-2:00pm.
Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:
Strong communication skills
Previous successful work experience providing exceptional customer service
Experience in a medical clinic setting strongly preferred
Strong and proficient data entry skills
Health insurance knowledge or background a definite plus
High school diploma or GED
Bi-lingual strongly preferred
Ability to multi-task and work quickly and efficiently in a stressful environment
Must have ability to handle confidential information on a need-to-know basis as defined by SCHC.
Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position:
Serve as first point of contact for incoming patients and visitors.
Direct and track flow of patient visit and services.
Verify patients in Phreesia who have completed preregistration at home.
Push registration link to patients if the check-in line is long.
Proactively approach patients in line or in waiting areas to help them complete registration.
Direct patients to other agencies where appropriate.
Monitor lobby activities for safety and security purposes.
Utilizing first-hand knowledge of assigned tasks and responsibilities, demonstrate initiative in offering proactive suggestions for improvements in departmental workflow and processes.
Embrace and support SCHC’s Process Improvement and Quality initiatives by participating in PI events and report outs and by supporting the PI and Quality teams in their initiatives.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
