JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: About the Division of Extension: UW-Madison\'s Division of Extension serves the people and communities of Wisconsin by addressing local, statewide and national issues, improving lives through research-based education, fostering partnerships and action, and facilitating positive impacts. This part time position provides support primarily to Burnett County 4-H, working alongside the 4-H Educator at the Burnett County Extension office located in Siren, WI. There will be some weekend and evening hours required, as well as opportunities to work a flexible schedule, up to an average of 19 hours per week. This position will help with implementing and magnifying programming, event planning, and helping to maintain a support system for sustainable programming for the Burnett County Extension office. In addition, this position will help maintain the department website, databases, and social media sites. In collaboration with Extension staff, the position will monitor, prepare and update educational and promotional communications. Job duties may include: -Uploading Annual Financial Records, chartering and issuing letters on behalf of the educator, filing 990n postcard, updating annual calendar, sending welcome packet/communication to county 4-H program -Distributing quarterly reports for office, managing 4-H online events and membership/volunteers at the direction of the educator -Website, newsletters and Facebook communications The Division of Extension has a deep and profound commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity, believing that these values are foundational elements to eliminate disparities and expanding access for all.
