Role reports to: Global Risk Management Senior Director

Location: Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.

Travel %: 25

Pay: Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $119,000 to $205,850. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.

What you will do

The Sr Manager, Crisis Management & Anti-Fragility is responsible for providing project management and coordination with all relevant functions across Kenvue for natural (e.g., hurricanes, floods, earthquakes), and man-made disasters such as wartime, socio-political, economic, technological, environmental risks (e.g., hazardous materials spills) and/or event situations that might impact our employees, facilities, and/or product flow to customers.

This role designs policies, procedures and guidelines for Kenvue, coordinating cross-functional teams to plan and prepare for contingencies and provides direct events response to the Global, Regional and Local Crisis Management Teams (CMTs). The individual also designs and executes Crisis Management & preparedness training or Tabletop exercises (TTEs). The role support the emergency project management implemented al local and regional levels through recovery, including status reports and progress updates to senior leadership. Finally, the role also designs and deploy a Business Continuity Management (BCM) Program to ensure that Kenvue moves from Resilience to Anti-Fragility.

Key Responsibilities :
Assessment, Program Planning: The Senior Manager partners across functions in preparation and planning for unexpected events and coordinates response teams for developing, coordinating, and managing all emergency planning, execution, and recovery activities.
Event Project Management and Implementation: The Senior Manager manages the Global Crisis Management & Anti-Fragility Program. In direct coordination with cross-functional teams and with the Risk regional leads, activates CMTs, integrates the information, directs/supports/assist event response and/or crisis management activities, provides project management to ensure the execution excellence of the portfolio of actions to include After Actions Reviews (AAR).
Progress Update: Directs the Regional Risk leads on emergency situation status reports that describe the event details, impact to the company and preliminary damage assessments, response and recovery efforts and needs.
Crisis Management Program Support:
Maintain and keep informed of activities or changes that could affect the likelihood of an emergency, as well as those that could affect response efforts and details of plan implementation.
Prepare plans that outline operating procedures to be used in response to disasters or events, such as natural or man-made disasters, nuclear accidents, and, and in recovery from these events.
Anti-Fragility Program: Update the Business Continuity Management Program to ensure that Kenvue is reliant to any potential event that may affect the company, transitioning from Resiliency to Anti-fragility.
Develop a BCM Program to be able to resist to any unforeseen event that may affect Kenvue.
Maintain updated a BCM Program in an automated fashion.
Engagement: Develop and maintain liaisons with external parties either directly or through internal groups such as Operations, Corporate Real Estate, Government Affairs, Communications, Media Relations, Facilities and other functions in assisting municipalities, county departments, industry associations, and similar entities to facilitate plan development, response effort coordination, and exchanges of personnel, supplies and/or equipment.
Engage also with Cross Functional Stakeholders such as Operations, Facilities, Human Resources, Legal, Corporate Real Estate, Government Affairs, Corporate Security, Communications, Information Technology (IT), Global Health, Procurement, Quality.
Update the Crisis Management & Resilience playbook, governance, training and escalation process so they are aligned to Operational OKRs and other performance criteria.
Best Practice / External: Attend meetings, conferences, and workshops related to Crisis Management & Business Continuity Management to learn new information and to develop working relationships with other emergency management specialists.
