Job Summary:LifeLine Ambulance is seeking a qualified Staffing and Operations Coordinator for the Illinois region (Skokie, Chicago, Carol Stream). A successful Staffing & Operations Coordinator has excellent interpersonal skills and is organized and detail oriented.
Essential Job Responsibilities/Functions:Initiates and maintains scheduling of Field Employees
Work with local schools and LifeLine Academy to ensure third riders are scheduled appropriately and have proper paperwork (waivers, etc.) submitted as directed by EMS Coordinator and Operations Managers
Works with Operations Managers and Communications Manager to obtain call demand weekly and ensure proper coverage and efficient shift times
Evaluate time off and PTO requests on a routine basis
Complete timeclock exceptions and update attendance points daily
Send a bi-weekly attendance point report to Operations Manager and Director of Operations
Participate in new hire orientation to train new hires on scheduling software and track and communicate status of new hire training (3rd rides)
Reports daily to Operations Managers & Communications Manager to address scheduling needs
Respond to vacancies due to call offs and fill shifts accordingly
Investigate and report employee hours (under hours and overtime) to Director of Operations and Human Resource to ensure productivity and maximum efficiency
Scheduling and maintaining Special Events coordinating with DO and Dispatch
Minimum Requirements:
1+ year within EMS Industry
Preferred prior experience in scheduling
Organized & detail oriented
Ability to use Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills
