Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Executive Director, HR Business Partner in Sleepy Hollow, New York

This Senior level HR Business Partner role will lead the HRBP team for all of Regeneron's Corporate Functions (G&A) which includes Finance, Law, Global Procurement, IT, Corporate Affairs, Investor Relations and Strategy / BD, etc.. It will provide strategic consultation to the senior management in these business segments i.e. CFO, General Counsel and over 25 SVP/VPs across the various G&A groups and across an employee population of approximately 1,200. The role will also partner with the HR Centers of Excellence (Talent, OE/DEI & Culture, Total Rewards and HR Operations) to create and operationalize programs that elevate our organizational goals.

The role is hybrid with a minimum of 3 days onsite, based at our HQ campus in Sleepy Hollow, NY. This role is not open to fully remote-based work arrangements.

As the Executive Director, HRBP a typical day may include:

  • Provides senior level HRBP oversight to the G&A function including partnering with key leaders in the business and HR COEs to provide strategic and operational support in the areas of talent and performance management, workforce planning, organizational design and total rewards.

  • Partners with key business G&A leaders on talent and succession planning processes.

  • Partners with key business G&A leaders to ensure there is a high performance culture while maintaining the values and essence of the Regeneron Way.

  • Leads change management practices within assigned client group to ensure organizational change is adapted and embedded in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Attracts and develops key talent both in assigned client groups as well as Human Resources.

  • Partners with the Talent COE to attract and retain executive level talent within the G&A functions.

  • Partners with Total Rewards to manage overall performance and compensation planning year-end for the G&A function including performance calibration and ratings, merit, bonus and long term incentive award processes.

  • Manages the executive compensation and promotion year-end process.

  • Partners with Employee Relations function to ensure timely and effective resolution to employee inquiries and complaints.

  • Provides input and feedback on HR operating model, policies and practices as relevant.

  • Manages and develops key HR talent within the G&A HR group and greater HR organization.

This role may be for you if you have :

  • Progressive expereince leading HRBP teams and have had oversight of HRBP initiatives within a large matrixed organization

  • Have held HRBP leadership roles supporting Commercial / G&A businesses & leadership

  • Utilized people analytics to share and provide insight and deliver people solutions.

  • Developed HRBP solutions that ensure business teams are operating at a high performance level (both in their leadership and technical capacity) utilizing learning and development programs and practices as necessary.

  • Excellent communications skills

  • Strong leadership and strategic skills

  • Strong business acumen within the pharma industry

  • A track record of developing strong relationships with executive leaders

  • Strong influencing skills with senior executives

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Learning agility and comfortable with high level of ambiguity

To be considered for this role you must possess a Bachelor’s degree, MBA or Master’s degree in Human Resources or related areas with 15+ years of relevant experience within pharma/biotech/high tech industry. Experience as an HR executive and Global experience is preferred.

Salary Range (annually)

$246,200.00 - $410,300.00
