The Role: Service Product Engineer (12 months contract)

What you’ll Do
This qualified candidate for this role is responsible for introducing new products into the Service business systems and maintaining mature products throughout their service life period to facilitate after-the-sale support of Black & Decker, Bostitch, DEWALT, Stanley, Cub Cadet, Robomow, Wolf Garten, MTD, Powers and other products that are repaired at SB&D service locations globally.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Expertise:
Facilitate global after-sale support for new products.
Select service parts and create detailed product drawings.
Develop repair notes and assess custom tool needs.
Maintain accurate service information and implement engineering changes.
Support & Collaboration:
Provide technical support to global teams.
Collaborate with Engineering, suppliers, and Marketing on product setups and updates.
Administrative Tasks:
Issue service bulletins for repair processes and improvements.
Conduct system administration tasks, including cost and stock checks.
Innovative Environment:
Participate in service reviews for new products.
Manage part change requests efficiently.
Who You Are
Strong interest in engineering, tools, or mechanics
Bachelor's degree (BSEE or BSME preferred) or 5 years of related experience
Familiarity with product design and tool applications
Preferred knowledge of Windchill, Team Center, and SAP
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of drawing or 3D modeling software (Adobe Illustrator, Creo Illustrate)
Excellent communication skills and able to adapt to different cultures
