What you’ll do:

As part of the EMEA Service Operations team, reporting to the EMEA Service Operations Manager, the EMEA Services Technical and Training Lead , will lead the EMEA Field Services Technical and Training standardization across a diverse product range on behalf the Electrical Services Business unit.

This individual will lead the co-ordination and alignment of all our Field Service Engineers Standard Work practices, Method statements and Training requirements across the region as well as technical support responsibilities to our key customers in Line with our Global Product Lines (GPL) Strategy.

The main location for the role is Helsinki (Finland) although alternative EMEA locations with large cluster service units (Sweden, Norway, UK & Ireland, France, Netherlands or Germany) can be considered.

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Standardize the design and produce FSE Standard operating procedures (SOP) for all new and existing products.

  • Own the communication with all necessary departments to provide high quality technical information, including SOPs and service management of Field Service Bulletins (FSBs)

  • Maintain direct links with Center of Excellence and main plants (Helsinki, Germany, US) and act as focal point for all technical exchange with Manufacturing, Engineering and Support at these facilities.

Training Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Deploy Training Strategy for the for the product range supported by the Services Business Unit.

  • Liaise with Product Line teams to ensure the trainings are delivered in alignment with EMEA Operations Technical and Training requirements.

  • Liaise with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Department to integrate critical EHS subjects (Electrical Safety and LOTO) on training matrix.

  • Create a process to certify Training Centers and trainers across EMEA.

  • Plan the “train the trainer” program.

  • Create the EMEA training plan and approach, needs assessment, documentation and training delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Business operations preferred or proven industry experience

  • 5+ years within a regional operations role

  • Experience in electrical / mechanical, Utilities, Data Centers, or equivalent industries

  • Critical Power Systems / Life Safety Systems / e-mobility/ energy Storage and/ or electrical product technical background,

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills able to represent EMEA Services at various levels within the region

  • Ability to influence change in people and processes

  • Proactive mind-set with desire for clear accountability and ownership

  • Fluent in English

  • +/- 25% travel time involved
