OSW Equipment & Repair, LLC, a subsidiary of Federal Signal Corporation, is the largest truck body and trailer manufacturer in the Pacific Northwest. OSWs main facility is located in the Maltby area in Snohomish County. OSW and has been in business for over 20 years and has branches in Edmonton, Canada and Tempe, Arizona.

As a Materials and Logistics Manager on our growing team, you are contributing to the success of the company by overseeing the planning, procurement, storage, control, and distribution of materials and products according to company needs and customer requirements. Supervisory Responsibilities:

- - Hires and trains departmental employees and supervisors.

- - Oversees the daily workflow of the purchasing, inventory control, and distribution teams includingreceiving, storing, and shipping staff.

- - Manages and trains supervisors regarding Inventory, Purchasing, and Logistics.

- - Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

- - Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- - Develop and implement strategies for the procurement, storage, and distribution of materials.

- - Manage inventory levels to ensure availability of materials while minimizing excess stock.

- - Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials.

- - Oversee the logistics operations, including transportation and warehousing.

- - Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.

- - Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

- - Lead and mentor a team of logistics and materials professionals.

- - Develop and manage budgets for materials and logistics operations.

- - Implement and maintain effective systems for tracking and reporting on materials and logistics activities.

- - Utilize Lean manufacturing methodologies to continuously improve processes and drive cost reductions.

- - Hires and trains departmental employees and supervisors.

- - Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

- - Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.

- - Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

- - Proficiency in logistics software and inventory management systems & MS Office Suite

- - Strong leadership and team management abilities.

- - Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Education and Experience:

- - Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in materials management and logistics.
