Responsible for site industrial hygiene program: Conduct industrial hygiene exposure assessments including walk-through surveys, inspections, exposure monitoring and hazard control evaluations. Prepare concise technical reports on the assessments conducted and provide recommendations to eliminate or reduce workplace hazards. Maintain employee exposure records. Communicate exposure assessment results and protective measures to potentially affected employees. Lead a variety of health and safety programs for the site to include but not limited to: Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Respiratory Protection, Hearing Conservation, and Ergonomics; ensures those programs are in compliance with all applicable legal and corporate requirements. Develop and/or update Job Hazard Analyses and risk assessments. Ensure that adequate PPE is selected and assigned to personnel, as well as provide guidance on proper use and maintenance. Act as an EHS business partner and provide EHS customer support for a department or area of the facility. Facilitates and supports department EHS committee meetings, EHS inspections, incident investigations and resolution of action items in those areas. Deliver training sessions and/or develop training material as required. Provide technical assessments, conducts training, prepare regulatory reports, and coach and advise employees on all aspects of safety.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field is required.

0-2 years of experience directly working in EHS; prior internship experience is highly desired.

Demonstrates a strong understanding of the following health and safety programs: Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Respiratory Protection, Hearing Conservation, Ergonomics, and Industrial Hygiene.

Ability to use specialized equipment and monitoring instruments to measure various hazards, such as airborne contaminants or noise levels.
