This position will support the risk based asset management program lead by the Reliability Engineering team and will help to properly define a maintenance strategy for each system he or she is responsible for, along with a robust and cost effective predictive technology strategy.

  • Lead & Facilitates Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

  • Will own and lead investigations documented using Trackwise abiding GEMS program rules.

  • Change control actions owner.

  • Performs Function, System and Equipment level Importance Analysis.

  • Utilizes Predictive Maintenance Technologies to increase equipment uptime.

  • Reviews and/or creates effective predictive and preventative maintenance procedures

  • Reviews and/or creates Bill of Materials and critical spare parts lists for equipment

  • Assist in development and verification of maintenance data for JDE system

  • Perform maintainability reviews of site design projects in working with other Engineering, Process, and Operations teams

  • Use of CMMS data to perform data trends and identify major equipment offenders (Bad Actors

  • To effectively resolve conflicts in an efficient manner with piers and management

Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline required. 5+ years of related experience. Some leadership experience preferred for supervisory roles.

  • Display a solid understanding of theories/practices utilized by other disciplines outside primary area of expertise.

  • Ability to convince management on courses of action with minimal assistance using both written and verbal methods.

  • Effectively operate in and may facilitate cross-functional teams with guidance.

  • Must be able to provide solutions that reflect understanding business objectives and cost implications.

  • Understand principles of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.

Knowledge of the basic principles in various engineering disciplines.
