Technical Account Manager Scotland and the North of England

Joining our Operations team, the Technical Account Manager will build personal relationships with Customer site teams and maintain a reputation as technical authority with those teams and also within the Biosite organisation. The role holders will be responsible for all technical aspects relating to our key customers, including site surveys of complex installation requirements, validating the technical solution proposed and delivered, and alongside the Key Account Manager, acting as a key advocate for in-life improvement. The role holders will work closely with the Biosite installation and service managers to ensure the customer is always receiving a professional service.

What would you do as our Technical Account Manager

As our Technical Account Manager, you will work alongside the Key Account Team to provide both pre- and post- sales technical support to ensure that on-site solutions are specified in line with customer needs and technical feasibility.

You would also be responsible for:

  • Pre-sales support for complex site solutions; customer guidance on best fit technical solutions against site requirements as well as post-sales support; providing guidance to the Customer

  • Site survey and technical sign-off

  • Installation and commissioning instructions and requirements validation

  • Issuing RAMs/SoWs to Site team ahead of installation and commissioning

  • Articulating access restrictions and requirement, including creation of Lift Plans as required

    The skills and experience you need

    We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in a similar management role

  • IOSH or equivalent qualification and SMSTS qualification

  • Strong knowledge of 18 edition IET wiring regulations

  • A good understanding of PC hardware, fire & security installations as well as networking, structured cabling & routing

  • The ability to produce and annotate drawings

  • Is an ALLMI Appointed Person
