Technical Account Manager (London & Home counties)

What you would do as our Technical Account Manager

The position will report directly to the Project Manager, you will be joining our operations team, the Technical Account Manager will be in charge for all technical aspects relating to our key customers, survey of the complicated jobs and a key asset for the account manager to drive improvements together. The role will also be responsible for close contact with the installation and service managers to ensure the customer is always receiving a professional service.

You would also be responsible for:

  • Sales Survey Training, engineer Installation Training, and customer Conflict resolution

  • Account Manager Technical Assistance, BDM Technical Assistance and engineer Technical assistance

  • Ensuring the Operations teams adhere to Health & Safety regulations

  • Writing and issuing RAMS/SSoW to site teams ahead of installations

  • Creation and implementation of Lift Plans (when required), and creation and management of departmental KPI's

  • Building & maintaining relationships with Clients and Site teams, and dealing with customer complaints/ issues

  • Interdepartmental liaison - Procurement, service, production etc, and post installation management - Ownership of Sites as a key stakeholder

    The skills and experience you need

    We are looking for someone who:

  • Proven experience in a similar management role, and excellent communication with customers and internal stakeholders

  • IOSH or equivalent qualification, and SMSTS qualification

  • A good understanding of PC hardware, a good understanding of Installation of equipment into customer premises, and a good understanding of networking & routing

  • Able to produce and annotate drawings, and ALLMI Appointed Person
