About the role / Segment

We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and motivated Portfolio Developer to join our team and support our sales activities in the field of Supply Chain Management.

This role will focus on developing and promoting our portfolio of software solutions at the EMEA level.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background and expertise in external and internal logistics activities for the following areas:

  • Supply chain Planning: Network, Transportation and Warehouse planning & optimization

  • Supply chain Execution: Transportation, Purchase order, Freight rate and docks management

  • Supply chain analytics

  • Supply chain sustainability

In addition, complementary expertise in Digital manufacturing including production planning and scheduling will be appreciated.

Freight Rate Management, Transport Management, Supply Chain Analytics, Planning and Scheduling, Purchase Order Management, Sustainability in Logistics, Intra-plant Logistics, Warehouse Management, and Digital Manufacturing.

Area of responsibility

  • Advocate and drive the development of allocated portfolio domain(s) by identifying target markets and implementing effective go-to-market strategies.

  • Define clear market expectations for the chosen portfolio domain, identify customer difficulties, and articulate the business value our solutions deliver.

  • Develop compelling sales messages and TIPS (Target, Insight, Proposition, Support) for each campaign within each country or vertical, tailored to industry-specific requirements.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the sales and pre-sales teams, providing guidance on planning, execution, and measurement of portfolio development activities.

  • Ensure that portfolio execution plans for countries, verticals, and regions align with zone requirements.

  • Serve as the key point of contact for sales and channel teams, providing campaign knowledge and expertise in the portfolio domain.

  • Establish and supervise measurable goals to supervise portfolio growth for each campaign and across the region or zone.

  • Collaborate with Global Portfolio Development teams, providing feedback on content and lessons learned, and offering guidance for improving materials.

  • Chip in to the creation of new campaigns within the assigned portfolio.

  • Share standard methodologies and lessons learned across countries and regions within the zone.

  • Work on portfolio domains, including campaigns of sophisticated scope.

  • Work independently, resolving solutions, methods, and procedures for assignments and pursuits.

Provide guidance and mentoring to others within the zone on portfolio development approaches in specific portfolio domains.

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience in software sales and portfolio development, preferably in the field of Supply Chain Management.

  • Solid understanding and expertise in Supply chain Planning (Network, Transportation and Warehouse planning & optimization), Supply chain Execution (Transportation, Purchase order, Freight rate and docks management), Supply chain analytics and Supply chain sustainability

  • In addition, complementary expertise in Digital manufacturing including production planning and scheduling will be appreciated.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate sophisticated concepts to both technical and non-technical customers.

  • Proven ability to get results and meet targets in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal direction.

  • Willingness to travel as required.
