Amentum Administrative Assistant in Solomons, Maryland

Amentum is currently hiring an Administrative Assistant in support of the FRC-ASE, Solomons Island, Maryland.

Primary duties:

  • Assist the site manager in daily and monthly funding and expenditure reports.

  • Provide high-level administrative reports as requested.

  • Create memos, letters, spreadsheets and presentations.

  • Arrange travel, fill out travel expense reports and check requests.

  • Coordinate processing for all new employees, promotions, transfers and voluntary or involuntary end of employment.

  • Assist other locations with their administrative needs.

  • Assist the site management in monitoring time recording and processing.

  • Other administrative duties as required or requested by site management.

Typical office environment with no unusual hazards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen.

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.

  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety, operation and company processes and procedures.

  • Proficient at Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Ability to communicate at all levels effectively before management, customers and employees.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as man-hour standards and percentages.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.

  • Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.

  • Must be able to make sound decisions and have strong interpersonal skills while representing the company in a positive manner.

  • Ability to pass background check for common access card.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Production and management experience.
