Job Title: Calibration Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Calibration Technician to join our team. The role involves performing calibration preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, and interfacing with calibration suppliers. You will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is calibrated to industry standards and maintained in optimal working condition.
Responsibilities
Perform calibration preventative maintenance.
Direct interface with equipment management software tools.
Coordinate with calibration suppliers to ensure timely completion of calibrations.
Complete internal verification and equipment inspections.
Coordinate calibration for equipment not managed in-house.
Perform routine equipment maintenance.
Calibrate equipment to industry standards.
Troubleshoot equipment failures.
Coordinate with suppliers for equipment repair.
Schedule outside resources in a timely manner.
Suggest equipment upgrades.
Maintain calibration equipment and supplies.
Maintain calibration certificates and ensure compliance.
Manage calibration and preventative maintenance cycles promptly.
Essential Skills
3-5 years' experience in quality manufacturing.
Experience with root cause investigation.
Advanced troubleshooting skills.
Competency with calibration software.
Extensive experience with equipment maintenance and repairs.
Relevant industry certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to stand, crouch, and kneel for extended periods.
