The Digital & IT Manager will work closely with the leadership of our Life Sciences Business managing the IT Operations & Support while also shaping our Strategy for our Digital Solutions impacting our business growth across our global footprint.

Will act as the digital portfolio manager for the Business Unites within Life Sciences and will manage the optimization of the application portfolio by working closely with Digital Product Owners, Opex Digital Solutions Teams and other Saint-Gobain stake holders.

Will ensure that the portfolio is aligned with the LS Digital and IS Strategy, and that it delivers value to the business and the customers.

Will participate in the steering committees of the selected digital initiatives, from proof of concepts to projects, and provides guidance and feedback on the scope, objectives, benefits, risks, and resources of the initiatives and is also the representative and the designated approver of the CDIO for the P4 projects, which are focused on single site/function.

Will serve as the point of contact for LS Cybersecurity actions related to LS applications and support sites to manage and effective closure of critical local application vulnerabilities as it arises by working closely with IT Services teams

Key Accountabilities:

  • Management of application portfolio within the LS SBU/s and be compliant with LS Digital and IS Strategy.

  • Work closely with all SBUs, Sites and Functional Teams within the business and act as Solutions Architect i.e. Evaluate and design the optimal digital solution for each new request, considering the business requirements, user needs, technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with the enterprise architecture and digital strategy. Ensure the clarity of the scope, deliverables, and expectations of the digital solution, and to address any issues or risks that may arise during the implementation. And build a solution delivery and operating model that it follows the best practices, standards, and methodologies of the organization, and that it meets the quality, security, and compliance criteria.Work closely with digital champions with-in LS cultivate idea management process.

  • Act as the main point of contact (1 st contact) for LS Cybersecurity for any security-related matters concerning the application on site (excluding Applications and systems on Industrial Network). Coordinate with Security Officer on the implementation and maintenance of security controls and measures for the application or site. Monitor and report on the security status and performance of the application or site, and escalate any issues or incidents to relevant teams and ensure closure as per guidelines. Participate in security awareness and training programs, and promote a security culture within the application or site team.

  • Work closely with Opex and its Digital Development/Project Teams to ensure alignment on application portfolio of LS and integrations between applications.

Preferred work location for this role would be in/around Solon, OH; open to Remote.

Bachelor's Degree - Information Science, Systems or Technology; Required.

5+ years of Business Analyst/Operations experience within Manufacturing: managing/supporting IT & Digital Initiatives / Programs across multiple sites, supporting Global Business with a complex structure and/or Cross-Functionally; Required.

Experience in Medical or Biopharma or LS Industry; Preferred.

Able to travel, domestically & Internationally, within range of 25-40%; Required.

Critical Must-Haves:

Strong knowledge of Digital Application and IT Management

Project management skills with ability to effectively manage multiple complex projects concurrently while meeting project deadlines (Waterfall, Agile, Dev Ops, etc.)

Ability to collect information on the strategic positioning of an area of activity (line of business, business unit, department, team, etc.) and create a clear picture of the capability gaps that may impede that area from reaching it’s full and required potential.

Ability to define requirements for a range of solutions from simple to complex that will integrate seamlessly into the systems landscape.

Strong Communication skills to effectively communicate technical topics to stakeholders with diverse background at all levels of the organization.

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $108,100 to $172,900 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 15% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $124,315 to $198,,835 . Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
