nVent HR Coordinator in Solon, Ohio

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Support the onboarding process for the Solon, OH campus. This includes but not limited to opening positions in WorkDay, supporting the hire process, completing the I-9 process and onboarding process for new hires
Attend campus job fairs, schedule interviews, coordinate communication with the team and applicants
Lead and manage the benefits administration for the ESN site of the Solon, OH campus, including the annual benefit enrollment process, training, communication, and reporting
Assist with key annual HR Functional processes, including but not limited to employee relations, performance management, compensation practices, HR policies and practices, training, and full employee life cycle processes
Manage and lead Workday, time and attendance management, and payroll transactions; ensuring data integrity/accuracy of information in Workday and other HR systems.
Promote a positive work environment and strong organizational culture through employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs and other activities
Serve as point person for communications, policy reference books, bulletin boards, Campus Connections
Flex schedule with availability to support all shifts
Assist with other assigned task and projects to support the engagement of the nVent population, including but not limited to trainings, site policies and practices, HR analytics, wellness initiatives etc.
You have:
Associate's degree in HR, Business or related field; or equivalent education and related training
3+ years of experience in an administrative, project coordinator and/or HR support role required
Previous experience working in Workday is preferred
Knowledge of pay and employment laws, practices, and legal requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
