PROFESSIONAL PLACEMENT SERVICE LLC Silk Screen Operator in Solon, Ohio
PPS is currently seeking a skilled Silk Screen Operator to join our team in Bedford! The Silk Screener will be responsible for operating silk screening equipment to apply designs, logos, or other graphics onto various metals and plastics. This is a full-time, permanent position with great benefits!
*Responsibilities: *
- Set up and operate silk screening equipment according to job specifications
- Prepare screens and set up frames for jobs
- Prepare ink for screening
- Load materials onto the silk screening machine and adjust settings as needed
- Align frames accurately to ensure proper image placement
- Monitor production runs to maintain quality and consistency throughout the process
- Troubleshoot equipment and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance
- Clean and maintain silk screening equipment and work area to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Adhere to production schedules and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
- Silk screening experience in a manufacturing/production setting
- Keen attention-to-detail
- Strong technical skills/mechanical acumen
- Ability to interpret and execute work orders accurately to customer spec
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently
- Strong problem-solving skills
