Job Description

  • The candidate will spend the majority of their day welding plates to beams and columns on steel that will end up in large structures across the country.

  • Expertise in Flux-core and MIG techniques, particularly on rails and stairs

  • Reading and interpreting weld blueprints and symbols

  • Measuring and cutting materials accurately using a tape measurer

  • Ensuring all welds are of the highest quality

  • No job is too big or small.

Work Environment

  • 1st shift = 5:30am - 4:00pm MON - THUR & FRI - 5:30 - 3:00pm. Mandatory 49 hours a week.

  • Pay: $20-$25 depending on experience/weld test

  • The environment resembles a large steel mill where they work on large structural beams.

  • The welds need to be perfect as the product is structural steel.
