The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a(n) Meeting Planning Analyst you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Provides specialized professional services to support the planning and execution of local Medical Education programs in the United States and Canada. Manages programs and events utilizing web-based systems and software applications. Creates registration sites, manages internal and external attendee registration and communications for concurrent programs and events following a variety of clearly defined procedures under general guidance. Answers routine questions and handles inquires of a moderate scope and complexity pertaining to events. Manages program Waitlists and attendee cancellations. Supports ad hoc event reporting requests for attendance or customer satisfaction metrics.
Works independently, coordinating with internal business partners in professional, supervisory or co-worker level roles and external healthcare professional (HCP) customers to plan and execute field sales driven medical education events. Arranges Faculty/Speaker travel arrangements, transportation, and lodging. Conducts venue sourcing and contracting, including negotiations. Confirms room set up, menu selection, and audio-visual requirements. Manages program invitations and confirming all program logistics with lead Sales Representative and Speaker. Accountable for budget management and assumes fiscal responsibility in managing program spend.
Works closely with Health Care Compliance to ensure adherence to global requirements and corporate guidelines pertaining to interactions with and exchanges of value for HCP's. Develops a working knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements and ensures healthcare compliance through lifecycle of meetings managed.
Shares best practices and demonstrates continued dedication to improving processes. Assists in the initial development and any future revisions of a standard operating procedure for the meeting management process.
Demonstrates a strong commitment to both corporate and Global Medical Sciences (GMS) operations, principles, and values. Enthusiastically and actively championing the value of meeting planning and GMS and how it contributes to the success of the organization.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
High School diploma or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Three (3) years work experience with direct coordination of healthcare related or medical education Speaker program management in a private, public, government or military environment
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, etc.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Associates degree or higher in Hospitality Management/Business Management, or related field (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Experience with professional event management software/systems [Cvent, etc.]
Basic knowledge of and experience with Health Care Compliance practices pertaining to interactions with Healthcare Professionals
