As an Advanced Project Engineer, you will imagine, design, and develop products and systems as part of a highly engaged and integrated engineering team. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will participate in all phases of product development and will be part of a group of talented professionals whose expertise ensures the success of engineering projects and programs.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and drive execution of engineering projects related to the development of wheel and brake solutions.

  • Manage project costs, resources, and schedules and report out to stakeholders.

  • Employ PM tools and development processes such as work-breakdown-structure (WBS), basis-of-estimate (BOE) management, requirements management, scheduling, and cost management.

  • Coordinate with various discipline engineering team members to solve challenging technical requirements and problems.

  • Coordinate new product procurement and product launch activities.

You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering field, preferably Mechanical, Material or Aerospace.

  • 5+ year(s) technical project and/or program management experience.

  • 7+ years of project engineering or program management experience with direct customer interaction or support.

  • Planning / Estimation, including resource, material, capital, and other needs.

  • Scheduling, including resource-loading and critical path analysis.

  • Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.

  • Business acumen and knowledge of current and emerging practices, methods, and information relevant to the aerospace industry.

  • Ability to redefine an optimal balance of engineering speed, agility, and quality of work.

  • Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking, and ability to adjust priorities quickly.

  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
