The Larson Group Peterbilt (TLG) is looking for an experienced Parts Counter Person to join our dynamic team at our South Bend, IN location. TLG has been a proud family owned business for the last 35 years and look forward to growing our team with you! The potential candidate’s primary responsibility is to sell parts to Company customers. The Parts Counter Person should be professional, courteous, and knowledgeable to ensure proper service to all customers. What We Offer: * Paid Time Off * Paid Holidays * Medical, Dental and Basic Life * 401K with employer contribution * Bi-weekly Pay Schedule * Opportunity for advancement and Career Development Responsibilities: * Responsible for answering Parts Department phone calls * Work with Outside Salesmen with questions and orders * Assist in keeping parts shelves clean and organized * Responsible for the receiving of payment on all cash tickets * Responsible for backing up the Back Parts Counter when customer load requires or an employee is absent * Helps in ensuring that parts department shelves are properly stocked * Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Should possess a high school diploma * A College degree or certificate/degree from a trade school is preferred, but not required * Experience in a related field is preferred but not required * Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check *Please note this is a safety-sensitive position Should possess a High School Diploma.
