ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Manufacturing Technician, you will be driving sustainable practices across various departments. In addition, you will be supporting other environmental, health and safety programs alongside the HSE team. You will utilize your knowledge and experience in sustainability environmental compliance to improve the quality of our operations and ensure compliance to regulations and Honeywell requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in administering the Honeywell Health, Safety, Environmental Management System

  • Drive waste diversion projects to reduce waste sent to landfill

  • Support facilities related projects and maintenance activities

  • Implementing and overseeing sustainability initiatives within an organization.

  • Assessing environmental impacts and reducing resource consumption.

  • Driving sustainable practices across various departments.

  • Seeking out and implementing cleaner, environmentally friendly technologies, materials, and production methods.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to help in developing and implementing processes and systems to support sustainability.

  • Identifying and mitigating potential product risks and issues.

  • This position is 100% Onsite

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

MUST HAVE

  • Sustainability experience

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering Biology, Chemistry, Engineering,

  • Business or Science related field

  • Environmental Compliance Experience

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Use innovative thinking to drive continuous improvement projects

  • Leadership mindset

  • Effective Time Management

  • Ability to be adaptable in fast paced environment

  • Strong computer and Microsoft office skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint primarily
