Job Title: Automotive Painter
Location: South El Monte, CA
Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm
Payrate: $22 to 25.00 Hourly
What's the Job?
Mix coatings with reducer and catalyst at correct mixture using color mixture equipment.
Spray primer/sealer with gravity feed primer spray gun.
Apply color and clear coating with spray equipment to meet coverage and glass standards.
Correct errors in application of all types of coating.
Check wet & dry film thickness with wet mill gauge.
Paint the parts and understand the acceptable quality of finish.
Follow all procedures for quality lasting paint finish.
What's Needed?
4 to 6 years experience in automotive paint application.
Experienced with all aspects of paint blending, repair, and application of automotive coating.
Ability to run dual action sanders, grinders, and miscellaneous hand tools.
Must be able to spray entire vehicle body with acceptable finish.
Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
