The Maintenance and Engineering Roles that CBRE often hires for in this area are:

Maintenance Technicians

  • The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all CBRE buildings and property. They will perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to painting, repairing drywall, fixing plumbing and electrical issues, minor carpentry work, and general cleaning. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in commercial maintenance and be able to work independently with little supervision.

Building Engineers

  • The Building Engineer will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of all building equipment. This includes but is not limited to HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. The Building Engineer will also be responsible for performing general maintenance worker tasks as needed.

HVAC Engineers

  • The HVAC Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of CBRE client's HVAC systems. They will ensure that all HVAC equipment is functioning properly and efficiently. The HVAC Engineer will also develop preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of the equipment.

HVAC/R Engineers

  • The HVAC/R Engineer will provide engineering and technical support for the operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC/R systems. Also responsible for developing specifications for new HVAC/R equipment and systemsand coordinating the installation of new equipment.

Mobile Maintenance Engineers

  • Provide maintenance services to a portfolio of commercial properties. Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.

What you’ll need

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of four years of related experience and/or trade school training.

  • Universal CFC certification preferred.
