Job description
Do you enjoy teaching others to grow and accrue new skills? We are seeking a Behaviorist to join our team! You will be responsible for creating behavior support plans for individuals and train staff under the supervision of a BCBA.
Responsibilities:
Complete daily acquisition skills, maintenance, and mastered skills as directed by BCBA
Collect accurate data, complete all data sheets, programming sheets, progress notes, and billing sheets daily
Create behavior plan, individualized treatment plan, and positive supports
Implement appropriate teaching strategies and behavior modification approaches
Complete all programming requests from BCBAs in a timely manner
Adhere to NES policies and procedures
Assist in providing a safe environment for all individuals and staff
Assist with problem-solving to improve efficiency and ABA supports within the individuals homes
Attend weekly meetings and training as requested
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Pass a background check
Pass a drug screening
Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's in Education (including Special Ed.), Psychology, or Applied Behavior Analysis, or other approved fields.
Must either currently have an active BCaBA license or be actively pursuing a BCBA or BCaBA license.
Must be able to obtain and maintain all required certification.
Preferred skills must possess excellent skills in typing, written, and oral communication.
At least 1 year experience with care of persons with disabilities.
Attention to detail with good comprehension and reading skills
