Opening available for Senior Business Systems Analyst at Cotiviti, Inc. in South Jordan, UT:
Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements. Deliver functional specifications and stories with prioritized features and corresponding justification. Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples. Focus and deliver on the vision of Enterprise Reporting and Data Visualizations to build a scalable, sustainable, and performing business intelligence product. Ensure that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals. Lead the collaboration effort with other business analysts and product managers guiding the group to understand the user personas, write reporting specific user personas and functional specifications, and help convert them into appropriate features for report development. Support the report development teams in sizing and estimation of the product features and building proofs of concept. Facilitate Agile ceremonies. Research and analyze market trends to adopt and communicate new concepts, ideas, and best practices specific to business intelligence reporting. Present solutions to internal and external stakeholders. Gather feedback and provide recommendations for improving the user experience. Provide reporting training to external team members and end-users. Mentor and develop junior team members. Assist in product releases and new client system implementations, including user setup and training.
Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field and 5 years of experience translating business requirements into technical specifications. In lieu of a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree and 5 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a master's or foreign equivalent degree and 2 years of experience as stated. Also requires 2 years of experience presenting solutions to internal and external stakeholders, facilitating Agile ceremonies, SQL, Excel, and SharePoint. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently. Telecommuting available anywhere in the U.S. Company headquarters located at 10701 South River Front Pkwy, Suite 200, South Jordan, UT 84095.
Base compensation ranges from $123,552 to $137,500. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
