North Eastern Services Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst - BCaBA in South Valley, Utah

Job description

Do you enjoy teaching others to grow and accrue new skills? We are seeking a Behaviorist to join our team! You will be responsible for creating behavior support plans for individuals and train staff under the supervision of a BCBA.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily acquisition skills, maintenance, and mastered skills as directed by BCBA

  • Collect accurate data, complete all data sheets, programming sheets, progress notes, and billing sheets daily

  • Create behavior plan, individualized treatment plan, and positive supports

  • Implement appropriate teaching strategies and behavior modification approaches

  • Complete all programming requests from BCBAs in a timely manner

  • Adhere to NES policies and procedures

  • Assist in providing a safe environment for all individuals and staff

  • Assist with problem-solving to improve efficiency and ABA supports within the individuals homes

  • Attend weekly meetings and training as requested

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Pass a background check

  • Pass a drug screening

  • Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's in Education (including Special Ed.), Psychology, or Applied Behavior Analysis, or other approved fields.

  • Must either currently have an active BCaBA license or be actively pursuing a BCBA or BCaBA license.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all required certification.

  • Preferred skills must possess excellent skills in typing, written, and oral communication.

  • At least 1 year experience with care of persons with disabilities.

  • Attention to detail with good comprehension and reading skills
