George Davis, Inc. is looking to hire an Estimator to be a part of our energetic and growing team. This new position within our company would include the following responsibilities: Drafting Requests for Proposals Scheduling and attending pre-bid walk through at job sites with trade partners Developing preliminary budgets swiftly Estimating projects using vendor and trade partner quotes, as well as in-house knowledge Performing post-construction actual cost reviews Maintaining an estimating database for co-workers to reference Utilizing your unique skill set in this new position to best support the company Other responsibilities may include: Drafting construction agreements Improving estimating process Preparing special orders Our ideal candidate would have: Minimum 5 years trade experience Experience must include estimating activities Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Able to read and interpret building plans Excellent communication skills, and is a detail-oriented, responsive, critical and creative thinker
