Consolidations Manager
Our manufacturing client, located in Southfield, MI, is looking for an experienced Consolidations Manager to join their team on an interim basis. The ideal candidate has prior experience with complex consolidation processes, understands IFRS and foreign currency translation/transaction.
The day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Lead the global financial statement consolidation process, including eliminations IC activity.
Prepare and provide IFRS and management reports to C-suite and other members of management, including statement of cash flows.
Lead and manage lease accounting for all entities.
Ensure OneStream is maintained as the Company’s ‘One Source of the Truth’ and strictly maintain an efficient and consistent global chart of accounts.
Partner effectively with other finance team members and non-accounting functions to drive improved controls and process enhancements
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following skill sets:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Experience with financial consolidations involving multiple currencies, multiple ERP systems and trial-balances, preferably in a growth environment.
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience in a private equity backed growth environment preferred.
Knowledge of IFRS and consolidation accounting is paramount.
Experience overseeing a multi-national consolidation process in OneStream, Hyperion or similar system is preferred.
Flexible team player with good interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization
