Knowledgeable and skilled in the area of back-office support functions and regulation, with a good understanding of International and Domestic Wires, ACH, and Reg E dispute processing.Able to work within a team environment, take initiative, prioritize tasks, with the ability to assist in problem prevention and resolutions.Working accurately with close attention to details, displaying good time-management skills.Process and maintain quality control and confidentiality over critical processes and information, multi-task and finish assigned tasks timely and efficiently.Reviews, verifies, posts and balances ACH files and outgoing wire transfers and related reports. Processes incoming and outgoing ACH files from the Federal Reserve or other 3rd party processor, resolves rejects, stop payment requests, disputes and inquiries.Willing to be trained on other Deposit Operations functions as needed.Adheres to legal and regulatory requirements and responsibilities in relation to payments and other general financial institution regulations. Assists with other department functions and provides back up support as needed.Completes all required product, service, and compliance training as it relates to the position and employment with Sterling and adheres to BSA Policy and procedures.Perform all the above duties consistent with professional ethical standards, including reporting any observed ethical violations to the appropriate management, management and/or Board level committees, and/or the Bank's ethics hotline.
